1. La Savonnière is offered for holiday rental subject to confirmation by the Property Manager, to the renter (“the Client”).
2. RESERVATION PROCESS: To reserve La Savonnière, the "Client" should contact the Property Manager and ascertain that the property is available. In addition to the desired dates, the Property Manager will need to know the Clients contact information, including name, address, phone number, email address if available, and the number in the party,. This can be done by phone or email or in writing. Also, a confirmation is required that the Client has read and agrees to the Terms and Conditions. This can be done by email or in writing. A reservation deposit is required. For your convenience, a PayPal button is provided above to make the required £100 (GBP) or equivalent currency reservation (different arrangements can be made by contacting the Property Manager.) Confirmation of the reservation will normally be sent by email (or other means as necessary.)
3. The balance of the rent together with the security deposit is payable not less than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period. Reservations made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking. The Property Manager will send payment details by email after a deposit is received (or other means as necessary.)
 4. A security deposit of 100 Euros or equivalent currency is required at the time of balance payment. Please note: The sum does not limit the "Clients" liability. The "Owner" will account to the "Client" for the security deposit in the event of a withholding. The security deposit (or balance) will be made within two weeks of the "Owner" or the "Owner’s" agent confirming that La Savonnière and its contents were left in a satisfactory condition.
5. Subject to clauses 2 & 3 above, in the event of a cancellation, refunds of amounts paid will be made if the “Owner” is able to re-let La Savonnière, and any expenses or losses incurred in so doing will be deducted from the refundable amount. THE CLIENT IS STRONGLY ADVISED TO ARRANGE A COMPREHENSIVE TRAVEL INSURANCE POLICY (INCLUDING CANCELLATION COVERAGE) AND TO HAVE FULL COVERAGE FOR THE PARTY’S PERSONAL BELONGINGS, PUBLIC LIABILITY ETC, SINCE THESE ARE NOT COVERED BY THE OWNER’S INSURANCE.
6. The rental period shall commence at 5.00 PM on the first day and end at 10.00 am on the last day. The “Owner” shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the time stated and the “Client” shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated.
7. The maximum number to reside in the property and make use of its facilities shall not exceed 6 unless the owner has given written permission. Camping/caravanning is expressly forbidden on La Savonnière.
8. The “Client” agrees to be a considerate tenant and take good care of La Savonnière and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. The “Owner” reserves the right to make a retention from the security deposit to cover any additional cleaning costs if the “Client” leaves La Savonnière in an unacceptable condition. A retention may also be made to cover any damage to La Savonnière, its contents or the grounds. The “Client” also agrees not to act in any way, which would cause disturbance to those resident in neighboring properties.
9. The “Client shall report to the Property Manager, without delay, any defects or breakdown in the equipment, plant, machinery or appliances in La Savonnière or garden. Arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made as soon as possible.
10. The “Owner” shall not be liable to the “Client” for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to La Savonnière, nor in respect of any equipment, plant, machinery or appliance in the La Savonnière or garden, nor any loss, damage or injury, which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of the “owner”. Nor any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the “Client” if the La Savonnière shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period and in any such event the “Owner” shall within seven days of notification to the “Client”, refund all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period.
11. Under no circumstances shall the “Owner” liability to the “Client” exceed the amount paid to the “Owner” for the rental period.
12. The use of the accommodation is entirely at the user’s risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury to a Client or visitor and loss or damage to the Client’s or visitor’s belongings.
13. No responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage to any motor vehicle or its contents.
14. The bringing of pets onto the property is forbidden except with the written permission of the owners.
15. The balance of the rent is payable not less than eight weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, the owners reserve the right to give notice by email (or in writing) that the reservation is cancelled. Reservations made within eight weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.
16. We will accept children over the age of 12.
17: The renter agrees to respect the terms under which we provide the free long distance phone service (Approximately 60 countries) and agrees that they will not make any calls to phone numbers outside the offering using our services. Limitations are spelled out in our Guest Documentation. If calls are made for which we receive charges, the renter agrees to pay for those charges plus a 15% handling fee. Note: Calls to cell phones not located in France are not included.
18. A free WIFI connection to the Internet is provided. The owner takes no repsonsibility for the system being down or unavaialble. The service is being provided by the owner to the client on a complementary basis and the owner assumes no responsibility if the system does not work properly. To use the system the client must bring their own WIFI enabled computer. The property manager is not familiar with the process of configuring computers and will not be ale to assist the client in this area. (Although not a guarantee, to date, all clients who have tried to untilize the system have been successful.)
