Accommodations
La Savonniere sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms. There is a well equipped large kitchen, dining room, living room and a very attractive entrance area. These rooms and more are detailed below. There is also a separate utility room housing the washer and dryer.   La Savonnière was built over time starting in the 18th Century, around 1750.  There are plaques on the additions showing when those sections of the house were added.  The first addition was dedicated in 1801 and the next main addition  was added in 1841.  There is also a Gite and a Porcherie.  The Gite, date of construction unknown, was originally used as a Butcherie and is now (slowly) being upgraded.  Subsequent to that, other additions were made including a garage and storage building for the oil heat tanks. We have 5 separate indoor and outdoor dining areas to suite whatever the situation dictates: Dining Room, Kitchen, rear Terrace 1, rear Terrace 2 and the front Breakfast Niche (The first 4 areas each can easily sit 6 people each and the last is for a more private, cozy experience of  2 - 4 people.)
